Mattehop takes gel ink to another level! High opacity ink with a matte, plastic-look finish when dry. Brilliant colour writes beautifully on light and coloured paper. Suitable for use on photographic and coated paper. Excellent for drawing and colouring. Gives maximum impact to cartoons and comic book-style illustrations. High-opacity gel ink - great for use on dark paper.

Very Opaque

It's very opaque, which is great, but it felt a bit sticky to write with. I don't think it is suited for writing, but it is great for colouring over black lines in colouring books.

A smudge...disappointed...

Overall its ok, but it smudges a lot! Because it takes a little while to try its easy to smudge it about...not a fan...especially that you also have to 'warm it up' first to make sure it starts writing. It has a lovely coverage but for me the using of it is just a little too troublesome to bother. I rather buy a quicker drying and more reliable alternative. Maybe I was expecting too much since it won awards and all

Complete colour pop

Lovely pens which look kind of plastic. I used them on shiny Christmas labels & they were very effective. They are a tiny bit globby & I used some scrap paper to remove them.
